Photos of roadside warbirds and museum collections are most welcome.
Photos of aircraft as they are currently displayed are great, but photos of airframes in previous markings, with past owners or during a restoration are fantastic as well. You can help document the history of airframes with photos!

    Photo Date: In 1971
Credit: Richard Rosanova via Shane Rosanova
    Date Uploaded: 6 August 2019
    Airframe: Stearman-Boeing PT-17 Kaydet, s/n 41-0965 USAAF, c/n 75-0725, c/r N56940
Notes: This photo was taken in the early 70s near Mesa, AZ at a crop duster strip. There was a small fly-in/airshow that day that included Art Scholl. I think the pilot on the wing of the PT-17 is named Jim Arte. I think he was based at Falcon Field in the 70s. The boy standing in the rear cockpit is Shane Rosanova, age 5. That same day Art lost his keys during his aerobatic routine. After a group of us unsuccessfully walked the strip looking for the keys, they were found to be lodged in the rear-most corner of the fuselage, against the rudder post. As a last ditch effort to reach the keys without cutting a hole in the fabric of the Pitts, Shane was asked to try crawling back from bulkhead to bulkhead to get the keys. He did.I did! This was one of the earliest memories I have of an aviation adventure. This is the first PT-17 I was ever in but I later went on to fly the PT-17, T-6G Texan and SNJ-4 as I built time towards my current career as a Captain at SkyWest Airlines.
