The Wessex has been stripped out inside and modified to include two bedrooms and is dubbed the Holicopter - it can be rented at a cost of 70 UK Pounds /night ! The Wessex served as an SAR machine with 771NAS based at Culdrose (it still wears the ace of spades logo on the engine covers), before transferring to the Aircraft Engineering School at RNAS Lee on Solent in 1980, It subsequently moved to an ATC Sqn in Shirley (West Mids), then the Sea Cadets in Evesham and Everett Aero before being accquired by the Campsite Airframe Dossier - Location Dossier View other photos by Jon Wickenden as the...
