Photos of roadside warbirds and museum collections are most welcome.
Photos of aircraft as they are currently displayed are great, but photos of airframes in previous markings, with past owners or during a restoration are fantastic as well. You can help document the history of airframes with photos!

    Airframe: Grumman-General Motors TBM-3E Avenger, s/n 85828 USN, c/n 2451, c/r N81865
Notes: NOTE: The cowling and fuselage pieces (gray/white and aluminum) were for a limited time, October through November of 2019. This pic was taken October 13, 2019. On about October 3rd the Avenger took off east (passing over my house on the way out) and some time later the engine puked. Brad Deckert successfully emergency landed it out east and a marathon effort to get the Avenger home followed. A crew was quickly assembled and in 5 days they had removed the engine and accompanying parts from Tim Savages Avenger (N4171A), trucked them out east; swapped the engines out in 7 days flat; did a run rup; and headed out early AM on the 13th for a return to Peru IL/KVYS (where this photo is shot) I followed the whole process as it was posted on FB. I headed out that AM to be there for their successful return. It was flown once more in this configuration on November 3, 2019.
