    Transferred to Marine Composite Reconnaissance Squadron 3 (VMCJ-3), MCAS El Toro, CA.

    6 July 1962

    Redesignated as RF-8A.

    1966

    Transferred to Fighter Photo Reconnaissance Squadron 62 (VFP-62), NAS Cecil Field, FL.
    Operated with markings: AJ-906

    1966

    Converted to a RF-8G.

    1972

    Transferred to Marine Photo Reconnaissance Squadron 4 (VMJ-4), NAS Olathe, KS.
    Operated with markings: MJ-41

    January 1974

    Assigned to 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Center (AMARC), Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ for storage.

    January 1976

    Transferred to Light Photographic Squadron 63 (VFP-63), NAS Miramar, CA.
    Operated with markings: NL-610

    27 April 1982

    Transferred to the Military Aircraft Storage and Disposal Center (MASDC) with inventory number 2F0425.

    April 1984

    Salvaged.

    3 December 2002

    Removed from storage at MASDC for eventual display at the Naval Air Museum, Barbers Point, HI. Apparently the transfer never took place.

    Based at Pima Air and Space Museum, Davis-Monthan AFB (South Side), Tucson, AZ.
