    Transferred to Ca. 1/58 to 6/58: Attack (Heavy) Squadron 16 (VAH-16), NAS North Island, CA.

    Operated off of carriers USS Bennington (CVA-20) and USS Yorktown (CVA-10).

    August 1959

    Withdrawn from use.
    At NAS Alameda, CA.

    1960

    Struck off Strength/Charge from the United States Navy.

    March 1962

    To U. S. Forestry Service, San Francisco CA.

    April 1962

    Assigned civil registration: N100Z

    1966

    To Leo J. Demers/Madras Air Service, Madras OR with new c/r N68667.
    Planned conversion as borate bomber but not tanked.
