    Constructed as a Mi-8T.

    September 1968

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Nationalen Volksarmee (National Peoples Army) with s/n 395.

    From 19 September 1968 to 1972

    Transferred to Hubschraubergeschwader 31 (31st Helicopter Squadron), Brandenburg-Briest, GDR.
    In march 1971 unit renamed as Hubschraubergeschwader 34.

    September 1972

    Crashed.
    Damaged beyond repair during an auto-rotation landing near Garz when both engines failed in-flight due to icing.

    From 1973 to May 1974

    Transferred to Flugzeugreparaturwerft 24 (24th Aircraft Repair Works), Kamenz, GDR.
    Repaired as ground instructional airframe.

    From 16 May 1974 to January 1980

    Transferred to Offiziershochschule der Luftstreitkrafte/Luftverteidigung (Air Force/Air Defence Officer College), Kamenz, GDR.

    From 1980 to 1990

    Transferred to Unteroffiziersschule VIII (NCO school VIII), Bad Duben, GDR.
    In Sept 1984 renamed as MTS der LSK/LV (Air Force/Air Defence Military Technical School).

    17 June 1993

    Transported by air.
    Flown underslung by a CH-53G Sea Stallion of German Army Aviation from Bad Duben to Finowfurt.

    17 June 1993

    Placed on display with Luftfahrthistorische Sammlung Finow, Finow AB, Eberswalde, Brandenburg.
