    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Navy with s/n XZ728.

    By 25 February 1981

    Transferred to NASU, RNAS Yeovilton.
    Noted at RNAS Yeovilton on 25 Feb 1981.

    Converted to a Lynx HMA.8.

    18 February 1997

    Written off.
    Broke free from lashings while being prepared for take-off from HMS Monmouth in stormy seas 15 miles south of the Eddystone Rocks, South Devon. Fell over side and sank. Both crew rescued and airframe recovered.

    To RNAY Fleetlands but considered beyond repair.

    Converted to a Lynx HMA.8.
