    Constructed as a L-18.

    7 November 1940

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the South African Air Force with s/n 1372.

    9 February 1946

    To South African Airways with new c/r ZS-ASN.

    From 22 April 1955 to February 1973

    To Aircraft Operating Company keeping c/r ZS-ASN.
    Converted to an aerial survey machine and used for aerial survey work throughout Africa until it was withdrawn from service.

    3 December 1973

    Based at South African Airways Museum Society, Rand Airport, Johannesburg, Gauteng.
