    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Canadian Armed Forces with s/n 20410.

    Competed at the Florida National Air Races in the T-6 class. The primary pilot was Jim Strang. Qualified in 13th place with an average speed of 187.90 mph. Raced in the Reserve race. Finished in 6th place with an average speed of 181.38 mph.

    Competed at the Wilson Regional Air RAces in the T-6 class. The primary pilot was Jim Strang. Qualified in 4th place with an average speed of 184.0 mph. Raced in Heat B. Finished in 2nd place with an average speed of 179.8 mph. Raced in the Reserve race. Finished in 4th place with an average speed of 183.0 mph. Raced in the Trophy race. Finished in 4th place with an average speed of 185.8 mph.

    Competed at the National Air Races Saint Louis in the T-6 class. The primary pilot was Jim Strang. Qualified in 8th place with an average speed of 192.308 mph. Raced in Heat 1B. Finished in 4th place with an average speed of 165.251 mph. Raced in the Trophy race. Finished in 6th place with an average speed of 186.335 mph.

    Competed at the Wilson Regional Air RAces in the T-6 class. The primary pilot was James Strang. Qualified in 9th place with an average speed of 187.0 mph. Raced in the Trophy race. No time was recorded and finished in 6th place. Cut a pylon.
