    Constructed as a BE-2b (replica).
    He fuselage frame was assembled from need wood and the original metal fittings from three original BE-2s.

    November 1972

    Fuselage frame of a BE2a displayed in WWI workshop scene in side gallery of newly opened RAF Museum Hendon.

    Circa February 1983

    Loaned to John MacKenzie of Shirley, Southampton.
    Used by Mr. Mackenzie as a template for the construction of a replica.

    From Circa January 1988 to April 1988

    To RAF Museum RC and RC, RAF Cardington.
    Airframe to RC and RC Cardington.

    New serial number assigned: 181 BAPC

    Components replicated and restored.

    From 1990 to 1991

    Markings Applied: 687
    Covered, rigged and painted.

    June 1992

    To Royal Air Force Museum, London, Grahame Park Way, Hendon, London, England.
