    Constructed as a C-54E-20-DO by Douglas at Santa Monica, CA.

    Circa 1944

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army Air Force with s/n 44-9150.

    From Circa 1965 to 1972

    To Alabama Air National Guard.
    A tech order sent even numbered aircraft to the boneyard and odd numbers to a wing spar inspection. no exceptions, the reason was possible damage due to overloading during the Berlin airlift.

    Converted to a C-54M.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army Air Force with s/n 44-9150.

    Markings Applied: 0-49150

    To unknown owner with c/r N8049H.

    To Central Air Service with new c/r N816D.

    Operated as fire service #102.
