At that time she had an Alligator wearing snowshoes by the name of Eloise painted on each side of her nose. I heard that she got that nickname while flying in the Berlin Airlift between 1948 and 49. She was/ is a great bird and I have a lot of happy memories flying with her.

Notes: Taken on May 11th, 2023. In remarkably good condition for being at Marana for 30 years, hopefully someone restores her for display or like the Connie that flew out a number of years ago.

    Photographer: Cassidy Cristello
Notes: Cockpit gauges still intact, crazy seeing a cockpit with complete steam gauges in this day in age.
