    Transferred to 191st Assault Helicopter Company, South Vietnam.

    25 January 1968

    Damaged.
    During a Close Air Support mission over South Vietnam, UH-1C 66-15076 was attacking at 50 feet and 80 knots when it took 2 hits from enemy 7.62MM rounds. The helicopter was hit in the Right Side. The helicopter continued flight and accomplished all mission objectives.

    25 January 1968

    Damaged.
    Later the same day, UH-1C 66-15076 was on a Recon mission for Armed Escort, Other Aircraft, over South Vietnam. It was attacking at 550 feet and 80 knots when it took 3 hits from an enemy 7.62MM weapon. The helicopter was hit in the Right Side. The helicopter continued flight and accomplished all mission objectives.

    1 February 1968

    Involved in an incident.
    During a Close Air Support mission over South Vietnam, UH-1C 66-15076 was attacking a large enemy force entrenched in fortified positions in and around the city of Ba Ria. Flying at 300 feet and 85 knots, UH-1C 66-15076 took 1 hit from an enemy 7.62MM round. The helicopter was hit in the canopy, striking CWO Tommy Gerald Sandefur. The helicopter continued flight, however, was immediately diverted prior to accomplishing any mission objectives so CWO Sandefur could recieve medical attention. Regretably, he would not survive his wounds.

    21 February 1968

    Shot down.
    During a Close Air Support mission over South Vietnam, UH-1C 66-15076 was attacking at 250 feet when it took 1 hit from an enemy 7.62MM round. The helicopter was hit in the bottom, damaging the fuel and oil systems. The helicopter made a forced landing. Later, the aircraft took off, fully flight capable. The aircraft was diverted or delayed after completing some mission objectives.

    24 February 1968

    Damaged.
    During a Close Air Support mission over South Vietnam, UH-1C 66-15076 was attacking at 300 feet and 080 knots when it took 1 hit from an enemy 7.62MM round. The helicopter was hit in the Aft area. The helicopter continued flight and accomplished all mission objectives.

    3 June 1968

    Damaged.
    During a Close Air Support mission over South Vietnam, UH-1C 66-15076 was attacking at 200 feet and 90 knots when it took 2 hits from enemy 7.62MM and 12.7MM weapons. The helicopter continued flight and accomplished all mission objectives.

    February 1969

    Returned to CONUS.

    To Army Aeronautical Depot Maintenance Center (ARADMAC), NAS Corpus Christi, TX.

    June 1969

    To Bell Helicopter Company, Fort Worth, TX.

    January 1970

    Transferred to 610th Transportation Company, South Vietnam.

    Transferred to 134th Assault Helicopter Company, South Vietnam.

    September 1971

    Transferred to 79th Transportation Company, South Vietnam.

    October 1971

    Transferred to 134th Assault Helicopter Company, South Vietnam.

    December 1971

    Transferred to 61st Assault Helicopter Company, South Vietnam.

    January 1972

    Returned to CONUS.
