    Constructed as a B-25J-30-NC by North American at Kansas City, Kansas, USA.

    Circa 1944

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army Air Force with s/n 44-86708.

    Redesignated as TB-25J.

    Converted to a VB-25N.

    Markings Applied: 708, BD-708
    The code, BD-708, maybe be incorrect, or incorrectly noted here, but it is confirmed with photo evidence that by the time the airframe arrived in the Soplatta collection there was a 708 marked on the nose.

    From 1958 to 1959

    Assigned to Davis Monthan AFB, Tucson, AZ for storage.

    August 1959

    To unknown owner with c/r N3682G.

    By 1966

    Held by a scrap dealer in Franklin, PA.

    From 1966 to By 1999

    Transported by ground. Delivered to Walter Soplata Aviation Collection, Newbury, Cleveland, OH.
    Obtained from the scrap dealer and moved to newbury in 25 truckloads.
