    Constructed as a Buccaneer S.2B.

    1967

    First flight.
    Flown at Holme on Spalding Moor.

    September 1967

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Navy with s/n XV350.

    1 January 1969

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Air Force with s/n XV350.

    Was never operated in RAF Squadron service.

    February 1969

    Brought up to Martel capability.

    Transferred to A Squadron, Aircraft and Armament Experimental Establishment (A and AEE), Boscombe Down.
    The Buccaneer was used initially for fin service trials and the development of Matra rocket pods for the RAF.

    1981

    Transferred to Aircraft and Armament Experimental Establishment (A and AEE), Boscombe Down.
    Used in the trials of the laser designate Pave system that was to prove so effective in the precision bombing operations in the 1991 Gulf War.

    Transferred to Hatfield.
    Used for trials of the Sea Eagle missile.

    1985

    Became the fourth Buccaneer to receive the new ASR102 updated avionics package.

    1988

    Transferred to BAe Scampton.
    Operated for pre-service trials.

    28 April 1993

    Struck off Strength/Charge.
    Withdrawn from service on this date.

    Transported by ground. Delivered to East Midlands Aeropark, East Midlands Airport (North Side), Castle Donington, Leicestershire/Leics, England.
