    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Voenno-Vozdushnye Sily.

    1977

    Struck off Strength/Charge from the Voenno-Vozdushnye Sily.
    Transferred to Polish AF as a replacement for Su-20 s/n 6601 lost in a crash caused by a production flaw.

    12 February 1977

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Sily Powietrzne Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej with s/n 7125.
    In Poland unofficially called Su-20R since it was factory-fitted with AFA-39 camera.

    From February 1977 to October 1982

    Transferred to 7. Brygada Lotnictwa Bombowo-Rozpoznawczego (7th Bomber-Reconnaissance Aviation Brigade), Powidz, Poland.
