    Transferred to Helicopter Utility Squadron 1 (HU-1).

    Deployed aboard USS Burton Island (AGB-1) in Alaska and Arctic.

    6 July 1962

    Redesignated as TH-13L.

    Transferred to Helicopter Training Squadron 8 (HT-8), NAAS Ellyson Field, FL.

    Circa 1963

    Flown by astronaut Jim Lovell on his first helicopter training flight in conjunction with the Apollo Program.

    To National Naval Aviation Museum, NAS Pensacola, Pensacola, FL.
