    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Air Force with s/n 58-6971.

    Transferred to 1298th Air Transport (Special Missions) Squadron, Andrews AFB, MD.

    Deployed to Washington, DC.

    June 1961

    Transferred to 1254th Air Transport (Special Missions) Wing, Andrews AFB.

    April 1963

    Converted to a VC-137B-BN by Boeing at Renton, WA, USA.
