    Involved in an incident.
    Summary: The airframe was damaged but was repairable. The domestic scheduled passenger flight departed Puerto Limon Airport (LIO/MRLM), Costa Rica and was destined for San Jose-Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO/MROC), Costa Rica. The hijacking occurred at San Andreas (Cuba) while en route. Narrative: LACSA flight 161 was hijacking several minutes after takeoff from Puerto Limon, Costa Rica. Three passengers, armed with. 45 calibre handguns demanded to be flown to Cuba.

    Summary: The airframe was written off. The accident occurred at Bonanza-San Pedro Airport (BZA) (Nicaragua) while landing. Narrative: Struck ditch on landing and crashed.
