    Redesignated as A-1H.

    From 1962 to 1963

    Transferred to Attack Squadron 145 (VA-145), NAS Moffett Field, CA.

    From 1964 to 1966

    Transferred to Attack Squadron 25 (VA-25), NAS Lemoore, CA.

    From March 1965 to November 1965

    Deployed aboard USS Midway for combat in Vietnam.

    July 1966

    Transferred to Attack Squadron 52 (VA-52), NAS Alameda, CA.
    Operated with markings: NM-305

    October 1966

    Deployed to Vietnam aboard USS Ticonderoga.

    April 1967

    Arrived NAS Atsugi, Japan for assignment to VA-25.

    From September 1967 to 1968

    Transferred to Attack Squadron 25 (VA-25), NAS Lemoore, CA.
    Operated with markings: NL-405
    Deployed to South Vietnam on USS Coral Sea.

    1968

    Last Navy Skyraider to fly an attack mission, logging final combat mission over South Vietnam in support of Khe Sanh on 20 February 1968.

    10 April 1968

    Withdrawn from use.
    Retirement ceremony at NAS Lemoore, CA.

    11 April 1968

    Ferry flight. Delivered to National Naval Aviation Museum, NAS Pensacola, Pensacola, FL.
    Ferried by Lt. JG Ted Hill, Jr, pilot of last combat mission.
