    Mrs Morrow-Tait was the first female to fly round the world - albeit in 2 aircraft - she left Cambridge in the UK on 18 August 1948 flying eastwards in a Proctor G-AJMU which crash landed on a highway at Tanacross, Alaska on 21 Nov 1948 - a new aircraft (this BT-13A NC54084), was sourced in the USA and was flown for the remainder of the journey that arrived back in Prestwick, Scotland. on 19th August 1949.
