    Markings Applied: 115, Royal Navy, KD658, X
    Decals were applied to cover the generic US Navy markings. With the new decals the Corsair was made to represent the Corsair flown by Robert Hampton Gray on his last flight on 9 August 1945. On this date Gray led a flight of Corsairs on an attack against Japanese shipping and lost his life doing so. On 13 November 13 1945 Gray was posthumously awarded the Victoria Cross.

    Crashed.
    The vintage warbird aircraft experienced a loss of directional control and subsequent runway excursion during landing at Gatineau Airport (YND/CYND), Gatineau, Quebec. The airplane sustained substantial damage upon impact with a drainage ditch and the pilot were injured with a broken rib and a broken nose.
