    To Auster Antartic.
    Obtained by Auster Antartic for Dr. Vivian Fuchs Joint Commonwealth Transatlantic Antartic Expedition in 1956.

    Fitted with floats, extra radio equipment, large belly tank and SARAH Air rescue beacon.

    November 1956

    The expedition commenced on this date.

    28 May 1957

    Involved in an incident.
    Accident on take off.

    Transported by ship.
    Moved back to the UK but declared as withdrawn from use.

    New serial number assigned: 7602M RAF

    13 April 1959

    To Exhibition Flight, 71MU, RAF Bicester.

    To RAF Colerne Museum.

    To RAF Finningley Museum.
