    Constructed as a Nimrod I.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Navy with s/n S1581.
    Third production aircraft.

    Transferred to 408 Flight, HMS Glorious.

    Markings Applied: 573

    April 1933

    Transferred to 803nas, HMS Glorious.
    Redesignation of 408 Flight.

    10 February 1938

    Crashed.
    Went down at Hal Far, Malta.

    1970

    Recovered.
    Removed from Coleys scrapyard.

    The substantial remains of S1581 were recovered from a scrapyard in West London in the early 1970s and donated to the RAF Museum. The remains passed to Viv Bellamy in the early 1980s to act as a pattern for his Fury replica.

    1994

    To Aero-Vintage.

    From 1994 to Circa April 2000

    Restored.

    From 13 September 1996 to 15 August 2002

    To Historic Aircraft Collection Ltd with new c/r G-BWWK.

    July 2000

    First post-restoration Flight.
    From Henlow flown by Flt Lt Charlie Brown.

    15 August 2002

    To Patina Ltd, Jersey (The Fighter Collection) keeping c/r G-BWWK.

    Based at The Fighter Collection, Duxford Airport, Duxford, Cambridgeshire/Cambs, England.
