    Constructed as a SA-316B.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Armada de la Republica Argentina with s/n 0737.

    1 July 1978

    Transferred to Naval Air Helicopter Squadron.
    Operated with markings: 3-H-12

    Transferred to Insular Air Group (Isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego).

    January 1979

    Transferred to Naval Air Station Comandante Espora.

    1982

    Actively participated in the Falklands War and embarked on the aircraft carrier ARA 25 DE MAYO and Tierra del Fuego.

    Participated in operation Desert Shield / Desert Storm.

    25 September 1990

    Boarded the destroyer ARA (D10) Almirante Brown to mark Argentinas participation in operations to liberate Kuwait, under UN mandate.

    2 November 1990

    Crashed.
    Fell into the sea in the Persian Gulf due to turbine failure without. No injuries to the crew. Remained afloat and was recovered.

    1996

    Restored.

    To Museo de la Aviacion Naval, Bahia Blanca Cte Espora Nab, Bahia Blanca, Buenos Aires.
