    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Australian Air Force with s/n A65-57.
    Used callsign VHC-UR.

    Civil registration VH-BAM {2} reserved but not taken up.

    6 December 1946

    To Qantas Empire Airways with new c/r VH-EAO.

    August 1957

    To Qantas Empire Airways with new c/r VH-EBX.

    September 1960

    To TAA-Trans Australia Airlines with new c/r VH-SBH.

    August 1962

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Netherlands East Indies Air Fo with s/n X-19.

    January 1964

    To Qantas Empire Airways with new c/r VH-EDD.

    Notes: c/n 25367. Qantas operated many DC-3s over the years, mostly on their New Guinea Internal services, which were taken over by TAA in 1960. From then on, Qantas had just two DC-3s VH-EDC and VH-EDD. used mostly for pilot training and occasional engine transport. Heres VH-EDD at Dubbo NSW in September 1968 during a crew training sortie.
