    Constructed as a MiG-23MLD.

    Circa 1983

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Voenno-Vozdushnye Sily with s/n 44 and operated with these markings: 44 white.

    Sold legally as a display aircraft by a Russian general to a Finnish company, supposedly to obtain funds to feed his troops. An American in Florida purchased it, but the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms seized it when he imported it illegally without proper permits.
