    4 November 1984

    Crashed.
    There were two fatalities. The accident occurred at Syria, VA, United States while climbing. The airframe was destroyed. The pilot had obtained two weather briefings before the flight both indicating VFR not recommended. He said he would fly VFR as long as he could along a northern route that was forecast to be VFR deteriorating to mvfr. The pilot was not instrument rated...
