    Transferred to 3rd Air Rescue Squadron, 5th Air Force, K-16 Seoul AB, South Korea.

    8 September 1951

    Crashed.
    Suffered accident taking off from K-16 Seoul AB due to mechanical failure. Aircraft written off. Pilot and two passenger uninjured.

    Transported by ship.
    Transported back to the USA.
