    Crashed.
    There was one serious injury and were three minor injuries. The accident occurred at Juneau, AK, United States while on appoach. The damage was substantial. The commercial pilot was transporting passengers in a float-equipped airplane. The pilot reported that he was in a descending right turn in preparation for landing and was looking for shoreline dock as a landing reference. Prior to seeing the dock, the airplane struck the water...

    Notes: N93356 salvagedThis Otter struck the water in a glassy landing situation and as can be seen, suffered a lot of damage. Here it is seen being salvaged near Juneau, Alaska in 2006. The wreckage was trucked to Vernon, BC and the Otter was rebuilt by Kal Air Repair

The domestic non scheduled passenger flight departed Juneau International Airport, AK (JNU/PAJN), United States of America and was destined for Berners Bay, AK, United States of America. The accident occurred at Berners Bay, AK (United States of America) while landing. Narrative: The Otter took off from Juneau (JNU) about 11:12., flying workers to the Kenington gold mine. It was foggy as the floatplane attempted to land in Slate Cove, Berners Bay...
