    Constructed as a Bolingbroke by Fairchild Aircraft Ltd. (Canada) at Quebec, Canada.

    16 August 1941

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Canadian Air Force with s/n 9023.
    Delivered with structural provision for floats.

    16 August 1941

    Transferred to Eastern Air Command, Halifax.
    Delivered to Eastern Air Command.

    Transferred to No. 119 (BR) Squadron, RCAF Station, Yarmouth, NS.
    Operated with markings: DM E

    27 October 1941

    Crashed.
    Ditched in Saint Margarets Bay, 20 miles west of Halifax, at 18:30. Three of the four crew members were injured.

    29 October 1941

    Transferred to No. 4 Repair Depot.
    Assigned to No 4 for write off.

    10 December 1941

    Struck off Strength/Charge from the Royal Canadian Air Force.

    To Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum, Mount Hope, ON.

    Restoration started.

    Components from 10040 were used in the restoration.
