The Swiss Federal Office for Civil Aviation (BAZL) initiates after the crash of a Ju-52/3 (HB-HOT), the review of all old aircraft in Switzerland, which are used for passenger transport. |

The owner association SCFA discovers corrosion on a wing. Further investigation reveals a damaged wing spar. |
|
The BAZL demands a complete overhaul of the HB-RSC in order to get an approval for the passenger transport again, effectively grounding the plane. |

The cost of repairs is estimated at 20 million Swiss francs. The SCFA is trying to raise the money. |

Unfortunately the SCFA could not raise the montey, so the club was dissolved and HB-RSC was sold. |
