    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army Air Force with s/n 42-94135 as a UC-72M.
    Impressed into military service with the War Dept, US AAF, in WW II as a general Officer/Flag transport, and IFR Trainer. The colour was changed to Army Green.

    Transferred to Camp Skeel, Oscoda, MI.

    Transferred to 1st Air Base Group HQ, Langley AAF, VA.

    Transferred to Morris Field, SC.

    Transferred to Sweetwater AAF, TX.

    23 November 1944

    To Civil Aeronautics Authority.
    Removed from military service.

    Nov 1944 Returned to civilian Service at Dallas Love Field from War Dept, per Maxwell AFB records.

    The Jacobs L-5 Radial Engine was replaced with a factory approved Lycoming R-680-13 300 HP radial Engine (s/n 6399) with a Hamilton Standard 2B20 c/s propeller (s/n T-401) as per AC-337. In addition an AT-10 Bobcat cowling was installed.

    Redesignated as HKS-7.
    ZKS-7 still often used for convention.
