    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Canadian Air Force with s/n 2301.

    New construction number, CA-99, assigned to the airframe.

    To Aircraft Industries of Canada Ltd, Saint Johns NFLD with new c/r CF-URS.

    Rebuilt with T6A-20 turbines, Volpar Mk.IV trigear, Prop-Jet 18 to Dee Howard TX STC, G18S cab (and) raised cabin roof,trigear H18 cabin windows: flight tests 8.68 with original engines then converted to turbines: the modified set marketed as AIC Jobmaster Prop-Jet.

    Destroyed in a crash.
    Summarized NTSB narrative from report number NYC78FA064: There were no fatalities. Incident occurred at 20:30 hours. The airframe was destroyed. Incident occurred at the Bradley International Airport, Windsor Locks, CT. The flight departed from Albany, NY, with the destination Windsor Locks, CT. The engine failed or malfunctioned while on final approach to land. Collided with trees during a landing go-around. The factors included; high obstructions on terrain...
