The domestic non scheduled passenger flight departed Greenville Downtown Airport, SC (GMU/KGMU), United States of America and was destined for Baton Rouge-Ryan Airport, LA (BTR/KBTR), United States of America. The accident occurred at 8 km (5 mls) NE of Gillsburg, MS (United States of America) while en route. Narrative: An L and J Company Convair CV-300 (N55VM) operated as a charter flight to transport the Lynyrd Skynyrd Band from Greenville, South Carolina, to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA...
