    29 December 1969

    Shot down.
    Was lost during a night armed reconnaissance mission in southern Laos. 1Lt Frisbie (call sign Firefly 13) found several trucks on a road near Ban Dong Pang, 45 miles southeast of Nakhon Phanom. As he dived on the target his aircraft was hit by 37mm anti-aircraft fire. He maintained control and headed back towards Nakhon Phanom but was forced to eject about eight miles south of the airfield and had to be picked up by one of NKPs HH-3Es.
