    Blue tailband.

    Base of operations changed.
    Deployed to Sheikh Isa AB, Bahrain in response to the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait. One of the first RF-4Cs to fly photo-op missions over Iraqi positions during Operation Desert Shield.

    Markings Applied: Smooth Character, BH
    Noseart featuring Joe Camel from the popular cigarette brand.

    Circa January 1991

    Base of operations changed.
    Returned to Birmingham AP, AL.

    17 February 1993

    Destroyed in a crash.
    Crashed into Atlantic Ocean off Savannah, GA. Crew ejected safely.
