    Constructed as a Sea Harrier FRS.1 by BAE.
    This was the second development FRS.1 airframe.

    March 1979

    First flight.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Navy with s/n XZ439.

    From By 1980 to By 2004

    To British Aerospace.
    Operated as a trials aircraft.

    October 1989

    Converted to a Sea Harrier FA.2 by BAE.
    Modified for further trials.

    2005

    To James Everett, Suffolk.
    Obtained from MoD disposals.

    2005

    To Art Nalls, USA.
    Mr. Nalls was a former US Marines Harrier pilot.

    January 2006

    Dismantled for shipping to the USA.

    21 November 2006

    To Nalls Aviation Inc, Washington, DC with new c/r N94422.

    Based at Saint Marys County Airport, California, MD.

    Reassembled.

    10 January 2007

    Certificate of airworthiness for NX94422 (SEA HARRIER FA2, XZ439) issued.

    10 November 2007

    First post-reassembly Flight.
    Flown at Saint Marys, MD.

    11 November 2007

    Damaged.
    During the second testflight diverted to NAS Patuxent River, MD, for an emergency landing. The nose gear collapsed and starboard outrigger damaged.

    28 November 2007

    Transported by ground.
    Towed to Saint Marys for repair.

    Repaired.

    22 November 2011

    To Nalls Aviation Inc, Lusby, MD keeping c/r N94422.
