Crashed.
The accident occurred at Igiugig, AK, United States while taking off. The damage was substantial. The commercial pilot was taking off on a passenger flight in conjunction with a remote lodge operation. The pilot said he picked up passengers in the float-equipped airplane on a beach and water-taxied out into the lake for takeoff. He said he taxied out about 1200 feet, reversed course into the wind and initiated a takeoff...

Crashed.
There were two minor injuries. The accident occurred at Kukaklek Lake, AK, United States while taking off. The damage was substantial. The pilot of the float-equipped airplane reported that, during landing on a river to pick up passengers, he observed that the river was low and sand bars were visible. During takeoff, the left float contacted a sand bar in shallow water and the airplane impacted the river bank.
