    Aircraft was used as an engine test bed and tested at least four engine models.

    From 1933 to 1941

    To Milo Burcham, Long Beach, CA with new c/r NR872H.
    Stunt and air show pilot. He also used this plane in movies.

    1941

    To unknown owner with c/r NC872H.

    From 1948 to 1965

    To Paul Mantz, Balboa Island, CA with new c/r N872H.
    Well-known motion picture stunt pilot. This plane appeared in many movies. Killed in 1965 while flying for the movie Flight of the Phoenix.

    Placed on display with Tallman-Mantz Museum, Orange County Airport, Santa Ana, CA.

    Marked as Navy F4B-1.

    1968

    To unknown owner with c/r N872H.
    Sold at auction to unknown person.

    1968

    Restoration started.

    1976

    To Lew Wallick, Bellevue, WA and Robert Mucklestone, Seattle, WA keeping c/r N872H.

    1977

    Restoration completed.
    Markings Applied: 3, U.S.Army Boeing P-12 A.C. 29-354
    The aircraft was restored to flyable condition and painted as Air Corps P-12.
