    Constructed as a X-32A.
    The Boeing X-32 is a concept demonstrator aircraft that was designed for the Joint Strike Fighter competition.

    From April 2000 to May 2000

    Conducted low- and medium-speed taxi tests.

    18 September 2000

    First flight.
    Flew from Boeings Palmdale, CA plant to Edwards AFB, CA., flown by Boeing test pilot Fred Knox.

    From September 2000 to December 2000

    Flew 66 total flights; the flights demonstrated the aircrafts handling qualities for inflight refueling, weapons bay operations and supersonic flight.

    From 2000 to 2005

    Assigned to Edwards AFB, CA for storage.
    Stored outside and deteriorated.

    9 April 2005

    To National Museum of the United States Air Force.
