    Certificate of airworthiness for N67682 (DHC-2-L-20, 671) issued.

    By 5 July 1983

    To unknown owner with c/r N67682.

    5 July 1983

    Crashed.
    The accident occurred at Iliamna, AK, United States while landing. The damage was substantial. The aircraft landed short of the runway and collapsed the landing gear. The pilot said the aircraft encountered a downdraft on short final approach and the application of power did not prevent the aircraft from contacting a 15 inch berm on the approach end. He stated that the main gear and tail gear sheared off and the aircraft slid to a stop on its belly.
