Army Airborne Special Operations Test Board (AASOTB), was an agent tasked with testing and evaluating new parachute delivery systems and methods intended for US military use. The stable and maneuverable Trojans were ideally suited for use in camera-equipped test observation machines, and were used to record hundreds of in-flight tests prior to their early 1987 replacement in AASOTB service.
