    Raced as #42.
    Modified. Competed at the National Air Races Cleveland in the Halle (Women) Trophy race. The primary pilot was Edna Gardner Whyte. Raced in the B Feature race. Finished in 3rd place with an average speed of 210.789 mph.

    5 April 1964

    Involved in an incident.
    Summarized NTSB narrative from report for event ID 81305: There were no fatalities. Incident occurred at 18:00 hours. The damage was substantial. Incident occurred at the Laguardia Airport, Flushing Bay, NY. The engine failed or malfunctioned while descending. Ditched on touch down. The factors included; came to rest in water. There was complete power loss in the failure of one engine. The emergency circumstances included; forced off-airport landing on water.

    23 April 1982

    Crashed.
    The accident occurred at the Flushing Airport (FLU) Flushing, NY, United States while landing. The damage was substantial. The flight proceeded without incident until the tail wheel was unlocked during the landing roll. The aircraft drifted to the left and struck a parked cherokee. Both aircraft were substantially damaged. Inspection revealed that residue of a recent paint stripping had fallen onto the left brake and lodged in a position that prevented release of the brake.
