    From 1 April 1975 to 1991

    To Lee C. Hoffecker, Grossostheim, West Germany keeping c/r N61912.

    Hoffecker was an US Army officer serving in the Coleman Education Centre, Coleman Barracks Army airfield at Mannheim, West Germany. Used for parachuting until 1981 when US Army stopped its parachute dropping operations at the airfield and N61912 was moved to nearby Worms civil airfield. Offered for sale but no buyer found reportedly due corrosion.

    Restored.
    Restored at Augsburg by Arthur Williams and advertised for sale.

    Ferry flight.
    Flown from Germany to the USA with J.Arnold as co-pilot, via Prestwick, polished metallic, US flag on tail ferried Prestwick-Vagar, ferried via Reykjavik, Iceland.
