    Constructed as a HA-1112 by Hispano at Spain.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Ejercito de Aire with s/n C.4K-154.

    During the restoration of what was thought to be s/n C.4K-102 c/n 172 it was found the fuselage was marked as c/n 223 which made it s/n C.4K-154. It is assumed the fuselages between the two airframes were swapped during Spanish service. It is not known what became of the c/n 172 airframe.

    To Historic Flying Ltd, Duxford Airfield, Duxford, Cambridge with new c/r G-AWHK.

    From 29 January 2016 to March 2016

    Transported by ship.
    International shipping company, Hamburg Sud, undertook the careful transport of the Buchon to New Zealand as part of their sponsorship arrangement with Warbirds Over Wanaka. They loaded the dismantled aircraft into a container aboard the vessel CMA CGM America in the Port of London for the journeys initial leg to Cartagena, Columbia, where the fighter will move onto another ship, the Spirit of Sydney for the passage through the Panama Canal for the long voyage across the pacific to Port Chalmers in New Zealand.
