    There was one minor injury. The accident occurred at the Huntington Beach Airport (L16) Huntington Bch, CA, United States while taking off. The damage was substantial.

    Crashed.
    The accident occurred at the Jennings Airport (3R7) Jennings, LA, United States while taking off. The damage was substantial. Shortly after takeoff, the vintage biplanes radial engine lost partial power and the pilot was unable to maintain altitude. During the emergency descent, the 4900-HOUR commercial pilot elected to turn the airplane towards an open field. In an attempt to avoid a tall fence, the airplane experienced a hard landing...
