    Constructed as a P-51B-1-NA by North American at Inglewood, California, USA.

    Circa 1943

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Air Force with s/n 43-12252.

    14 November 1944

    Crashed.
    Crashed into Lake Louisa near Clermont, Florida, when the engine failed. The pilot perished in the crash.

    2001

    Low water levels exposed the wreck and it was discovered.

    July 2001

    Recovered.

    From 19 November 2001 to By 2003

    To Jack Rousch, Livonia, MI.
    Transferred to Mr. Rousch as an imcomplete hulk.

    24 July 2003

    To Roush Air Llc, Livonia, MI with new c/r N551E.

    From 2003 to By 2006

    Restored.
    Markings Applied: Old Crow, B6 S, 324823
    Work carried out at Salinas, CA. A Malcolm canopy was installed.

    8 December 2006

    To JRM Investments Llc, Livonia, MI keeping c/r N551E.
    Remained in Salinas for the remainder of the restoration.

    8 June 2008

    First post-restoration Flight.
    Flew at Salina, CA.
