    Constructed as a DH-83.

    21 April 1935

    To Brian Lewis, 30 Conduit Street London W1 with new c/r G-ABXS.
    Based at Heston Aerofrome.

    From 6 September 1935 to 7 October 1942

    To S. D. Marshall with new c/r VH-UVL.
    Impressed into RAAF service.

    8 October 1942

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Australian Air Force with s/n A41-2.
    Use as a military ambulance aircraft in the New Guinea campaign.

    27 October 1943

    Damaged.

    30 November 1943

    Approved for Conversion to Components.-Broken up for parts at Goodenough Island.

    2000

    In July 2000 a Fox Moth registered VH-UVL was restored to the Australian Civil Register quoting the same c/n 4015. However, this was a new-build fuselage constructed in NZ with Tiger Moth wings, and although painted to represent the original VH-UVL in WA flying doctor scheme, it is believed that no parts of the original survive in this new Fox Moth.
    Your Assistance is Needed: Does anyone known why c/n 4015 was used for the restored aircraft ?
