    Constructed as a Hercules C.1.

    Assigned s/n 66-8552 with the United States Air Force for administrative purposes. It did not serve with this service.
    The serial was allocated for Production Administrative purposes only. Aircraft did not serve with US forces.

    Transferred to Marshall of Cambridge.
    Sent to Marshall for painting and fitting out in preparation for RAF service.

    17 August 1967

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Air Force with s/n XV202.

    Circa February 1968

    Transferred to 48 Squadron, RAF Changi, Singapore.

    Circa December 1971

    Transferred to 242 Operational Conversion Unit, RAF Thorney Island.

    Circa 1975

    Base of operations changed.

    From Unknown to 10 September 1984

    Converted to a Hercules C.3P.
    Converted at Marshall of Cambridge (Engineering) Ltd.

    10 September 1984

    Transferred to Lyneham Transport Wing, RAF Lyneham.

    Towed onto RAF Museum land and placed on external public display.
